This is a 3D printed resin accessory containing a pair of external auxiliary fuel tanks of the RPL 541/542 type with a volume of 2000 liters for a model of the Mirage 2000 fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a set of two tanks that will complete the stores of your model. The 3D printed parts have fine surface detail with no mold seams.

The real subject

The Mirage 2000 is a French single-engine supersonic fighter with a delta wing. Large-volume external tanks extend its range on transit and patrol flights, which is why the aircraft is often shown carrying them.

Usage tips

• Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent so that print residue disappears.
• Carefully cut off the print supports with a sharp knife and sand the surfaces down.
• Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
• When sanding resin, protect your airways; do not breathe in the dust.
