Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:32 scale is intended for a plastic model of the American Vought OS2U Kingfisher observation aircraft. It is not a kit or a standalone model but a set of precisely shaped masks of thin yellow kabuki masking tape. The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want crisp transitions of color on the glazing, the floats and the camouflage fields without the lengthy cutting of tape by hand.
The Vought OS2U Kingfisher is an American observation and reconnaissance aircraft of the Second World War, which was built in a float as well as a landplane form. In the float version it was launched by catapult from the decks of battleships and cruisers and served for observation, spotting for naval gunfire and rescuing downed airmen. It was slow, but tough and reliable.
Degrease the extensive glazing of the long canopy and let it dry. Lift the masks from the backing and lay them patiently onto the individual panes, working field by field. Fine-tune the transitions with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats, so that it does not run under the edge. Once the paint is dry, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package holds masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
