This accessory is a turned metal replacement for the pitot, that is the airspeed, tube for models of the OV-10 Bronco observation and ground-attack aircraft in 1:32 scale. The metal part is firm, perfectly straight and as thin as a plastic molding cannot be — it replaces the fragile plastic part, which bends or breaks easily.
A hole of the matching diameter is drilled in the model and the metal tube is glued in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The metal surface can be toned with a bluing solution or sprayed with a primer and paint.
This is a standalone detail accessory. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
