A resin figure of an American jet fighter pilot in 1:32 scale from Plusmodel. The figure is sensitively cast with carefully worked detail of the flying gear and it suits models of jet fighters as well as bringing aviation dioramas to life.
The figure represents a pilot of the American F-86 Sabre jet fighter from the years after the Second World War and from the time of the Korean War, in the flying gear of the period. It is a fitting addition to a model of the aircraft or to an airfield scene and gives it a human dimension and scale.
First wash the figure clean of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and lightly sand the surfaces. Glue it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Prime it before painting; for a realistic look, shading the folds of the clothing and careful face painting with highlights and shadows work well.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
