A set of unpainted plastic figures of British infantry of the Second World War in 1:32 scale. They suit dioramas and standalone display alike.
Responsibility details are not available.
British infantry of the Second World War is a rewarding subject for dioramas and for a display case, where figures give vehicles both scale and story. The set in 1:32 scale can be built on its own or completed with a vehicle and a groundwork base.
The box holds plastic figures supplied unpainted, in a single color of the material. The 1:32 scale means that a person 175 cm tall measures just under 5.5 cm on the model; the face and the gear are therefore large enough to be painted with a brush without a magnifier.
Wash the figures in lukewarm water with detergent first and let them dry so that the paint holds. The British field uniform is keyed to muted khaki tones, so the result rests on working with shadow and light rather than on color contrast. Apply a thin base coat, then the base shade, a dark wash into the folds and finally dry-brushing on the edges.
The set is meant for modelers looking for crew and company for their 1:32 vehicles, and for figure collectors who like this scale for the size of the detail. Paints, brushes and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
