This is not an aircraft kit but a resin detail set from CMK. It replaces the plastic exhaust stacks from the box with more convincing castings with open, hollowed mouths, which take the typical plastic look off the model and add depth. The set is intended for models of the Soviet Yak-9T fighter.
The Yak-9T was the anti-tank and anti-aircraft variant of the successful Soviet Yak-9 fighter of the Second World War, armed with a large-caliber cannon firing through the propeller hub. The row of exhausts along the sides of the engine is one of the prominent details that come into their own when seen close up.
Wash the mold release off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and sand them with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The metal look of the exhausts is brought out by a dark base, metallic pigments and subtle rusty brown shades; darken the open mouths so that they look empty.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
