This is a resin, 3D-printed detail set from ResKit, not a helicopter model. The set holds the main rotor of the late-series AH-64D attack helicopter in the position with the blades folded, together with the elements of the fold restraint system, the late blades, a MUMT antenna and the mast-mounted AN/APG-78 Longbow radar. The target kits are the Takom or the Snowman one.
The Boeing AH-64D Apache Longbow is the modernized version of the attack helicopter, with a four-blade main rotor and the characteristic mast-mounted radar. Folding the blades makes it easier to transport and store the machine; the late form of the blades matches the newer series.
Separate the parts from the print supports, wash and degrease them, and glue them with cyanoacrylate (super) glue. Prime the rotor and the radar and bring out the details with a wash and discreet weathering.
The set is an aftermarket accessory in resin, not a helicopter kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
