Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure of a British infantryman from the campaign in northwestern Europe in the years 1944 to 1945, in 1:35 scale from the production of the Polish manufacturer Mantis Miniatures. It is a single soldier cast in quality resin, intended to be glued, finished by brush and set into a diorama. Because of the work with resin the set is suitable for more experienced modelers.
After the landing in Normandy the British infantry fought its way across France, Belgium and the Netherlands and into Germany. The soldiers wore the characteristic battledress uniform with a helmet and webbing field equipment, and the bolt-action Lee-Enfield rifle served as the standard weapon. The figure captures a typical infantryman of this campaign and suits armored vehicles as well as infantry scenes of the end of the war.
First wash the resin parts to remove mold release residue, carefully cut off the casting blocks and clean up the mating surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It is practical to paint the figure before the final assembly; a primer, shaded layers of acrylic or oil paint and bringing out the face and the uniform with glazing and a dry brush all prove their worth.
The figures are supplied unpainted and cast in resin, intended to be glued and finished by brush. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
