An accurately shaped replacement barrel for the main gun-howitzer from Panzer Art in 1:35 scale, intended for models of the Soviet 2S3 Akatsiya self-propelled howitzer (SO-152). The replacement barrel takes the place of the split plastic part from the kit and offers a perfectly round cross-section and a finely rendered muzzle, including the muzzle brake.

The real subject

The 2S3 Akatsiya is a Soviet 152 mm self-propelled howitzer introduced in the 1970s. Its gun derives from the design of the well-known 152 mm towed howitzer and became one of the mainstays of Soviet and Russian artillery. The straight, accurate barrel with its muzzle brake defines the vehicle's silhouette.
