Meng Defensive Barriers is a resin diorama accessory in 1:35 depicting modern folding defensive barriers.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin diorama set in 1:35 scale from Meng. It is not a vehicle model but a set of accessories for building a scene: modern folding defensive barriers, which on today's battlefield take the place of classic sandbags. The set contains two kinds of barrier with a realistically rendered surface.
The subject is modern fill barriers based on the principle of the wire gabions originally used against floods. They consist of a folding wire mesh wall with a tough textile liner, which is filled with sand and gravel on the spot. They are used to protect posts, checkpoints and camps in present-day military operations.
First wash the resin parts to remove any mold release residue and cut off the casting blocks. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The surface comes out well with dry brushing and pigments, which emphasize the texture of the wire mesh, the fabric and the loose fill. Sand resin with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
