A turned metal barrel in 1:35 scale from the Polish brand Aber. It is not a model but an accessory with which you replace the plastic barrel on models of the German 5 cm Pak 38 anti-tank gun. The metal part has a perfectly round cross-section, a crisply drilled muzzle and faithful proportions including the muzzle brake.
The 5 cm Pak 38 anti-tank gun was one of the key German anti-tank weapons of the early Second World War. Its long barrel and high muzzle velocity let it threaten even well-armored targets, and it was deployed on every front. Its slender long barrel with the muzzle brake is a striking feature that comes into its own in metal.
