Toyo R888R tires in the size 265/35 R19 make up the wider counterpart to the narrower 19-inch version of the same pattern.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of rubber for a car build in 1:24 scale whose name carries the whole size notation. Against the other 19-inch version of the same pattern it has a wider tread, specifically 265 millimeters. A model of the car is not included; this is a supplementary part for a part-built project.
Toyo builds the R888R type as a competition tire meant mainly for closed tracks, although it can be run on the road too. The drawing is asymmetric and the soft compound comes up to working temperature faster than on an ordinary summer tire. On real cars the wider sizes typically appear at the rear, where the rubber has to put the power down. The continuous areas of tread are dominant on this pattern and in miniature you recognize them at first sight.
When you are building a car with different widths at the front and the rear, separate the two sets right after unpacking; a wheel mixed up is hard to spot later. A sidewall with relief deserves bringing out with a fine stroke of light paint. Level the mark left by the parting plane of the mold along the circumference, never with strokes across the tread. Wider rubber offers a larger area on which patina shows, so work with pigment more carefully.
