A detailed photo-etched set (vol. 1, basic) from the Polish brand Aber in 1:35 scale. It is not a model but a set of fine photo-etched parts with which you upgrade a kit of the German heavy 18-ton Sd.Kfz. 9 FAMO half-track tractor. It is meant for use with the well known plastic kits of this vehicle.
The basic set replaces and supplements the coarser plastic elements with fine photo-etched parts - covers, grilles, brackets and other details - which give the model a more faithful and finer look. A separate additional set follows on from it for a more demanding build.
Take out the photo-etched parts, bend them on a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the surfaces before gluing; paint fine grilles with a base coat before fitting them.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
