Responsibility details are not available.
The item is neither a vehicle kit nor a figure, but a small accessory set from the range of modern German weapons in 1:35 scale. It serves to give a figure in a diorama, or equipment stacked beside a vehicle, a more accurate weapon than the base kit offers.
The SL8 is a self-loading rifle of German design, technically derived from the G36 assault rifle and built for civilian and sport shooting. Its recognition features are the elongated thumbhole stock, the long barrel and the rail for optics running across the whole upper part of the weapon. The SL8 family has several forms differing in the stock, the barrel and the accessories; the name of this item states the SL8-6 form. Compared with the military G36 the weapon looks slimmer and unambiguously modern, so it suits contemporary scenes rather than the Second World War.
The parts are small, so cut them off with a sharp scalpel right at the gate and smooth the remainder with a sanding stick so that the fine engraved detail is not rubbed away. The base is a dark primer, over it a matte black-gray and a light dry brush with graphite or dark steel on the edges. The plastic parts of the weapon are in reality rather semi-gloss, so do not overdo the matting.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
