1:35 German Helmet M35/40 (Stahlhelm) (Detail) + Decals is a set of resin 3D-printed German helmets with decals for figures and dioramas in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory set of finely 3D-printed resin German Stahlhelm helmets in 1:35 scale, supplemented with a set of decals. This is not an equipment model, but an equipment detail for figures and dioramas. The included decals let you apply period insignia to the helmets, so the result looks authentic with no hand-painting of small symbols needed.
The German steel helmet Stahlhelm model M35 was introduced in 1935; the simplified wartime M40 version had ventilation holes stamped directly into the shell. These helmets are among the most typical elements of a German Second World War soldier and often carried period insignia on the shell.
Before separating the parts from the sprues and sanding, dip them in hot water to soften the resin so it doesn't chip; it hardens again once it cools. Wash the castings, cut off the casting blocks with a sharp tool, glue with cyanoacrylate glue, and sand with respiratory protection. Paint the helmet first and topcoat it with a gloss varnish, then apply the decals and seal them with a matte varnish so they blend into the surface.
The set contains resin helmet castings and decals. Figures, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
