Mini Craft Collection 1:48 HTY-5 ejection seat

A 3D-printed resin HTY-5 ejection seat in 1:48 scale for models of the Chinese Chengdu J-10A, J-10B and J-10C fighters and of the light FC-1. The package contains one seat with finely printed detail of the harness, handles and mechanism, which replaces the simplified part from the kit. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for superdetailing the cockpit.

Use

  • Carefully separate the seat from the print supports with a sharp knife or a saw.
  • Wash it in lukewarm soapy water to remove any print resin residue.
  • Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
  • Apply a primer suitable for resin before painting; the seat is fitted before the cockpit is closed up.

For advanced modelers who want to give a 1:48 J-10 or FC-1 fighter a faithful ejection seat.

The accessory is supplied unpainted. Protect your airways when sanding resin and do not inhale the dust.
