This classic plastic set contains a wide choice of the small arms and support weapons carried by German infantry during the Second World War. It is not a vehicle model but an accessory kit for bringing figures, dioramas and tanks in 1:35 scale to life. The parts are made of injection-molded plastic and are meant to be glued and painted.
The armament of German infantry consisted of the Kar98k rifle, the MP40 submachine gun, the MG34 and MG42 machine guns, the Panzerfaust and other anti-tank weapons. It is precisely the mix of personal weapons, machine gun positions and ammunition that gives a battlefield scene credibility and scale.
Cut the small parts from the sprue with a sharp knife and glue them with a liquid plastic cement. Wooden stocks, blued metal and leather straps and harness come out best after a base coat and brush detailing; a final wash brings out the detail.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
