Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures of German soldiers — tank riders hitching a ride on armored vehicles — set during the fighting in the Ardennes at the turn of 1944 and 1945 (the Ardennes Offensive). 1:35 scale, made by MiniArt. This is not a tank or any other vehicle — it is a set of figures meant to bring dioramas to life and complete models of armored equipment. The figures wear winter equipment and uniforms matching the end of 1944, and per the manufacturer it is a set of four figures. The package also includes a set of weapons and equipment.
The Ardennes Offensive (the Battle of the Bulge, as the Allies knew it) was the last major German offensive operation on the Western Front, launched in December 1944 in wooded, snow-covered terrain. Infantry commonly traveled on the armor of tanks and assault guns during it. Figures riding on vehicles are therefore a typical element of dioramas from this period.
Cut the figures from the sprues, clean up the mold seams and fit the body and equipment parts together. Glue with a thin liquid modeling cement for plastic. Apply a primer before painting; for a winter scene choose muted field gray-green and gray tones, work the faces in skin shades, and add dust and mud effects. Arrange the weapons and equipment from the set according to your chosen composition.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the vehicle are not included in the package.
