1:35 Israeli House Ruin is a plaster model of a ruined residential building of Middle Eastern construction, intended as a building element for a military diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Italian brand Royal Model represents a section of a shot-up residential building of the kind typical of urban construction in the Middle East. The manufacturer casts it in plaster, which it itself calls premium — thanks to it the casting holds the sharp edges of the render, the exposed masonry and the texture of the concrete. It is not a model of a vehicle and not a figure but a set piece into which you add the hardware and the figures according to your own idea.
The ruin works both as a backdrop and as the focal point of a scene. The open floors allow a view inside, so it can be used well to tell a story: a patrol in a window opening, collapsed rubble at the foot of a wall, an armored vehicle driving through a narrow street. The 1:35 size fits the vast majority of military hardware kits and figures in the same scale.
Rinse the plaster castings before work and let them dry completely. The manufacturer recommends joining the parts with PVA (vinyl) glue and giving the whole object a base coat before painting — plaster is absorbent and without a base it would use up a senseless amount of paint. A dry brush will pull the edges out, a dark wash will bring out the joints and dust pigments will settle the scene into its setting. Chips and cracks can be added with modeling putty.
It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and figures are not in the package.
