Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure of a grenadier of the LSSAH unit from the Ardennes offensive in 1:35 scale from the Polish manufacturer Mantis Miniatures. The single figure is cast in resin and is intended to be finished by brush and set into a winter scene. Work with resin presupposes more advanced skills.
Panzergrenadiere, the armored infantry, formed the infantry component of the German armored divisions and fought in close cooperation with the tanks. Battle groups of the LSSAH division deployed grenadiers during the Ardennes offensive in the winter of 1944 to 1945. The figure will complete a scene with armored vehicles or an infantry subject from this campaign.
First wash the resin parts to remove mold release residue, carefully cut off the casting blocks and clean up the mating surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It is practical to paint the figure before the final assembly; a primer, shaded layers of acrylic or oil paint and bringing out the face and the uniform with glazing and a dry brush all prove their worth.
The figures are supplied unpainted and cast in resin, intended to be glued and finished by brush. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
