This aftermarket detail set contains a set of resin (3D-printed) grab handles (Haltegriff) for a model of the Panzer III tank in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but a fine accessory meant to replace or supplement the handles on the hull and the turret. Each handle carries a realistic weld seam where it is welded to the armor, which mass-produced plastic parts usually lack. The quantity is enough for roughly five vehicles.
Grab handles are among the small but prominent features of armored vehicles. Faithfully cast handles with a weld markedly raise the impression of fidelity in scale and look finer than thicker plastic pieces. The set is meant for modelers who want to bring their Panzer III to perfection.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts and separate them carefully from the print supports. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Because of their small size, work with tweezers. Protect your airways while sanding and lay down a primer before painting.
This is an add-on resin detail set. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
