Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the French Renault UE 2 light tracked carrier in 1:35 scale from Mirage Hobby. The package also includes the tracked transport trailer that belongs inseparably to this subject.
The Renault UE was a French light tracked tractor and load carrier developed in the 1930s. It served to carry ammunition and materiel and to tow light weapons. After 1940 a number of captured vehicles were used by the German army as well, for auxiliary and rear-area tasks. A small tracked trailer was its characteristic companion.
Glue the link-and-length tracks with liquid cement for plastic and let them become tacky before you shape them over the wheels. Spray the model with a primer before painting. The small size of the vehicle comes into its own with fine weathering, washes and dust pigments on the running gear. French and German schemes are both appropriate to the period.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
