This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from Kinetic captures the RG-31 Mk.5 wheeled armored vehicle, resistant to mines and improvised explosive devices. The kit offers a detailed hull with its characteristic shape of belly and equipment matching the modern use of this carrier.
The RG-31 is a four-wheeled armored vehicle of the MRAP category with a V-shaped hull, which deflects the blast wave of an explosion away from the crew. The Mk.5 version is among the widespread variants of the family and is used to carry a crew in an environment with a threat of mines and charges. The vehicle served with a number of armed forces on overseas operations.
Assemble the chassis and the wheels with attention to their sitting correctly on a surface. Glue the photo-etched and tiny parts with cyanoacrylate. Give the model a base of primer and spray it with an airbrush; for realistic service use, apply washes and pigments for mud and dust effects, above all on the wheels and the lower part of the hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
