The Sd.Kfz. 234 was a German heavy armored car on eight wheels. All the wheels were both driven and steered, and at the rear the vehicle had a second driver's position for reversing at full speed, which made it an agile reconnaissance machine. The 234/4 version carried a 7.5 cm anti-tank gun in an open superstructure. On a wheeled armored vehicle the wheels are visible from every side, and their shape and tread are among the things one notices first on a finished model.

The type designation tells the form of the wheel apart within the manufacturer's range. The number of pieces and the kit the set is cut for are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
With parts from 3D printing you will find no casting blocks but print supports. Cut them off with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the remainder carefully, so as not to touch the tread. The parts are not polystyrene and are glued with cyanoacrylate. Wash and degrease them before painting, so that no print resin residue stays on the surface. Then apply the paint in thin coats, otherwise the fine tread pattern will be flooded.
