This resin detail set from the Slovak brand Armour Models brings finely cast breakaway couplings and pieces of tooling for superdetailing a model of the SCUD-B missile system in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle kit but an accessory with which you replace the coarser plastic parts from the base kit and give the model convincing small equipment.
The SCUD-B is a Soviet tactical missile system of the Cold War carried on a heavy wheeled transporter erector launcher (TEL). Small technical features such as quick couplings and stowed tools were part of the typical look of the operation and maintenance of these weapon systems.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut them away from the casting blocks carefully and clean them up. They are glued with cyanoacrylate. Protect your airways when sanding resin. After clear coating, the detail comes out with a wash and a dry brush.
The set holds resin accessories only. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
