Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of a Soviet 76 mm gun in 1:35 scale from Zvezda. The model captures the characteristic split-trail carriage, the shield and the barrel convincingly. It suits a display case on its own as well as a striking element of a diorama from the Eastern Front.
The ZiS-3 of 76.2 mm caliber was a general purpose Soviet gun and one of the most widespread artillery pieces of the Second World War. It served at once as a divisional gun and as an anti-tank weapon, valued for its simplicity, reliability and ease of handling. It accompanied the Red Army from the fighting of 1942 to the end of the war.
Before gluing, try the carriage and the elevation mechanism dry so that they seat without play. Run a thin plastic cement into the joints. After spraying the base green, bring the gun to life with drybrushing and a dark wash that picks out the rivets and the detail; pigments on the lower areas and the wheels will add dust and mud.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
