Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-28 medium tank in its early configuration in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. The model captures the characteristic multi-turret layout with a main turret and two smaller machine gun turrets at the front. The box holds photo-etched parts and decals; check the manufacturer's instructions for the exact contents and the number of parts.
The T-28 was among the first series-built medium tanks in the world. The prototype was built in 1931 and production began at the end of 1932. It was an infantry breakthrough tank meant to break through fortified defensive lines, and it shared a number of features with the heavier five-turret T-35. Among other places it was deployed in the Winter War with Finland and in the opening battles of the Second World War on the Eastern Front.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the lower hull tub before the hull is closed up, and fit the turrets last of all. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic, and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Soviet equipment most often carried a uniform green finish; after the primer and the paint, bring out the detail with a wash and add dust and mud effects in pigments on the running gear and the fenders.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
