Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet SU-76M self-propelled gun in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. The package is conceived as a whole scene: besides the vehicle itself it holds a set of crew figures, so you will build the gun complete with its crew. The SU-76M has an open fighting compartment, thanks to which the interior is clearly visible and the well-worked detail stands out.
The SU-76M was a light self-propelled gun of the Second World War period, built on a lengthened chassis derived from the T-70 light tank and armed with the proven 76 mm ZiS-3 gun. It served as mobile fire support for infantry, for destroying fortifications and as an anti-tank weapon. After the T-34 tank it was the most numerously built Soviet tracked vehicle of its day, and it fought on the Eastern Front until the end of the war.
Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic. With this type the order matters: first finish and paint the running gear and the inside of the open hull, and only then close the superstructure up. An airbrush with a base primer suits a uniform green surface; you will create the final weathering, that is mud and dust effects and emphasis on the rivets, with washes and pigments. The figures will bring the whole cabinet to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
