This item is not a model of a vehicle or a kit of military equipment, but a set of diorama accessories in 1:35 scale. It contains plastic traffic signs with their posts and usually also decals or paper artwork for printing them. It serves to finish off the setting around the main model, for example a vehicle or figures on a diorama. The exact contents are given in the instructions in the box.
Road signage is an inconspicuous but very effective element that gives a scene its scale and the atmosphere of a period and a place. The set captures traffic signs typical of the setting of southeastern Europe in the 1990s and suits the rendering of road and urban scenes of that period. A sign placed by the roadside immediately sets a model in a particular place and time.
Cut out and clean up the posts and the plates, and glue the small parts with a gentle touch. Gray and galvanized shades support the metal look of the posts, and the decals or the supplied artwork go onto the plates over smooth varnish, so that they do not silver. A light patina adds realism: traces of rust, chipping and dust at the foot of the post. The signs can be tilted slightly or scuffed according to the story the scene tells.
The set of diorama accessories is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the main model are not included in the package.
