An injection-molded plastic set of three complete kits of German three-axle trucks of the Second World War, 1:35 scale, made by ICM (Ukraine). The set contains separate plastic kits of the Henschel 33D1, the Krupp L3H163 and the Mercedes-Benz LG3000 and is intended above all as the basis for a larger diorama with period logistics equipment.
The Henschel 33D1, the Krupp L3H163 and the Mercedes-Benz LG3000 were among the standardized three-axle trucks with drive to the rear axles (6x4) that formed the backbone of German army supply. They were three-tonne vehicles for carrying troops and materiel, built in tens of thousands and serving with many body variants throughout the war on every front.
On each vehicle, assemble the chassis, the engine and the drivetrain first, and only then close up the body. Handle the gluing of the plastic with liquid cement. Because it is a set of three vehicles, it pays to paint in stages and to prepare a single scheme for the whole diorama. Mud and dust effects with washes and pigments suit the weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
