Voyager Model 1:35 balloon tires for the Kübelwagen Type 82 Africa, pattern 2 is a resin set of wide desert wheels for models of the German Kübelwagen.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set from the maker Voyager Model is not a kit of the vehicle but a detail accessory: it replaces the wheels of the German Kübelwagen Type 82 light off-road car with wide balloon tires for desert service. Pattern 2 denotes a tread different from pattern 1. The set is intended for models of the Kübelwagen in 1:35 scale.
The Kübelwagen Type 82 was the standard light off-road car of the Wehrmacht. In North Africa wider balloon tires proved their worth, coping better with soft sand; they existed in a smooth and in a grooved version, which is what the different patterns offered by the maker correspond to.
Separate the wheels from the casting blocks, wash the mold release agent off them and attach them with cyanoacrylate glue. We recommend a matte color for the tires, the vehicle color for the rims and a sand wash for the African setting.
The set holds only the resin wheels; the model of the vehicle itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
