This injection-molded plastic kit captures the Chinese YW-531C tracked armored personnel carrier. The model in 1:35 scale from Bronco is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted kit meant for gluing and finishing.
The YW-531C was an export armored personnel carrier of Chinese manufacture growing out of the Type 63 series of vehicles. It served to carry a squad of infantry and for its own defense it had a heavy machine gun. Vehicles of this type reached a number of foreign operators and were committed in the Middle East, among other places.
With tracked carriers we recommend assembling the running gear and the tracks first, and only then closing the hull. Thin cement for plastic, a base primer and an airbrush have proved themselves. The look will be brought to life by washes into the recesses and pigments for dust and mud effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
