PUCK 1925 (Port Wojenny), a 1:400 diorama set from Mirage Hobby captures the Polish naval base at Puck on the Baltic coast in the 1920s. It is not just one ship but a complete harbor scene.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set is a diorama as a whole in 1:400 scale, not a stand-alone model of a single ship. It lets you build a section of the Polish naval base in the harbor of Puck in the middle of the 1920s. In the box you will find several vessels, a harbor building with a crane, a period seaplane and a base board, from which you put a complete scene together. The set is made of injection-molded plastic and is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
In the interwar years Puck on the Hel Peninsula was an important base of the Polish Navy and naval aviation. The sheltered position of the bay made it a natural anchorage for smaller warships and for the seaplanes that patrolled the Baltic from there. The set recalls the atmosphere of the young Polish naval tradition of the early 1920s.
We recommend building and painting the individual vessels and buildings separately first, and only then seating them on the base. Use a thin modeling glue for the plastic and clean the flash off the small parts. Shades of transition, chamfered edges and fine washes will bring the water surface and the jetty to life. The whole comes into its own with figures and small details of harbor life.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
