A detailed resin and 3D-printed set from Reskit intended for kits of the General Dynamics F-111 bomber in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a set of external additional tanks with a capacity of 600 gallons. The tanks are suitable for the F-111 A, C, D, E and F versions and for the electronic EF-111. The set is intended for more experienced modelers.
It adds faithfully shaped large-capacity tanks to a model, which the F-111 carried under the wings for long-range flights. The 3D-printed form captures the shape and the fine surface detail exactly, and the result is cleaner than with the parts from the original kit.
Wash the uncured print resin residue off the parts, separate them from the carrier supports and line them up dry on the appropriate pylons. Bond exclusively with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Do the sanding with respiratory protection, then apply a primer and the colors according to the scheme of the aircraft.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin set. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
