A detailed resin engine exhaust nozzle for models of the American A-4E Skyhawk carrier attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory, not an airplane kit. The nozzle replaces the simplified part from the box and adds a realistic rendering of the inner and outer sections.
The A-4 Skyhawk was a light single-seat carrier attack aircraft, valued for its agility and its long service with the Navy and other users. The A-4E version was among the widespread production marks. The rear end with the exhaust nozzle is visually exposed, which is why a good replacement pays off.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, separate the casting blocks and clean the surfaces up. Bond with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the inside of the nozzle in metallic shades with heat discoloration and bring the depth of the detail out with a wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
