This is a detail armament accessory, not an airplane model. The package contains four faithfully rendered American medium-range guided air-to-air missiles AIM-7E2 Sparrow III, produced by modern 3D printing. They serve to complete the external stores of fighter models.
The AIM-7 Sparrow is an American semi-active radar homing medium-range air-to-air missile. The AIM-7E2 version was adapted for maneuvering combat at shorter ranges and was used intensively in the period of the Vietnam War. A faithful rendering of the body and of the control surfaces is what makes the armament look realistic.
Separate the missiles from the print supports, clean them up and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint them in live ordnance shades, add the colored bands and a fine highlight.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
