A resin, 3D-printed set of wheels for the Antonov An-2 multipurpose biplane. It is NOT a model of the aircraft but an accessory that replaces the landing gear wheels of the base plastic kit with more faithful parts. The wheels usually have separate tires with a rendered tread and finely worked hubs. The set is intended for more experienced modelers.
The Antonov An-2 is a Soviet single-engine biplane used for transport, agricultural work and parachute drops. It is notable for its rugged structure and its ability to operate from short and unprepared strips, which is what its massive landing gear wheels are there for.
Cut the parts from the print supports and wash them free of print resin residue. For a more realistic impression the tires can be sanded flat where they touch the ground. Separate the hubs and the tires in color, bring out the tread with a dry brush and add a dusty patina.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and, as an aftermarket set, calls for a more experienced hand. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
