Curtiss P-40K - Tail Wheel Bay is a 3D-printed tail wheel bay set for building the P-40K in 1:48 scale by Eduard.

A detail accessory, not an airplane model. By direct 3D printing the set renders the tail wheel bay of the P-40K and replaces the corresponding plastic parts of the base kit in 1:48 scale. It adds a three-dimensional rendering of the internal structures, which in plastic tends to be merely suggested.
A faithfully shaped bay with the structure of spars, ribs and tiny elements, thanks to which the rear fuselage looks realistic when seen from below.
Wash the parts, cut the print supports away and smooth them down. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A primer and airbrush painting are recommended; a discreet wash will bring out the deep detail.
This is an accessory set, not the model itself. The plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
