The crew of a loading truck at the moment when the lifting arm is drawn down and the bomb is only being taken over from the trailer. The set contains a driver and two helpers in modern work dress. The figures are shaped precisely to the model of the MHU-83 D/E truck, so once seated the height of the hands matches the handles and the height of the seat matches the seat of the driver.
A hydraulic munitions lift is an unremarkable machine, but a combat squadron cannot do without it. It drives between the depot and the ramp, takes a bomb over from the transport trolley and lifts it to the height of the rack under the wing. The lower position of the arm is the start of the whole operation. Without it a heavy load would get under a wing only with great difficulty and far more slowly.
Settle the arrangement of the figures before painting. Try dry whether the palms touch the truck the way they should, because with figures tied to a particular machine it is exactly this contact that gives a scene its credibility. A hand hovering a centimeter above a handle spoils the impression more than imperfect painting.
The truck and the ordnance are not contained in the package. The figures can be used freely as well, though, for instance as a group talking to one side of the equipment.
