This is not an aircraft kit but a resin, 3D-printed detail accessory. The set contains a faithful copy of the Martin-Baker Mk.10Q ejection seat as used in the French Dassault Mirage 2000C and 2000-5 fighters. It replaces the simplified seat from a plastic kit in 1:48 scale.
The Martin-Baker Mk.10Q ejection seat is one of the modern escape systems of combat aircraft. In a cockpit it is one of the most conspicuous items, so its quality and complexity leave a strong mark on the final impression of a model.
Wash the parts to remove any mold release agent and separate them from the print supports. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); sand with your airways protected. We recommend painting the seat first with a primer, then with the main shades, and finally picking out the harness, the handles and the detail. A dry brush and fine washes bring out the relief of the printed surface.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
