A resin detail set from Reskit intended for Eurofighter Typhoon models (the single-seat version) in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a pair of faithful exhaust nozzles for both engines in the open (spread) position, as found on an aircraft standing on the ground. The set replaces the simplified parts of the base model with finely cast petals.
On the twin-engine Typhoon the rear nozzles are a prominent and closely watched detail. A resin replacement with thin edges and faithful geometry markedly raises the realism of the tail of a model. The open position suits aircraft shown on the ground and dioramas.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. We recommend painting in metallic and heat-discolored shades and accentuating the petals with a wash and pigments.
