The General Dynamics F-16 is a single-engine multirole fighter that became one of the most widespread Western-built combat aircraft. The F-16C version is a single-seater. The cockpit is interesting in its own right for a modeler: the bubble canopy with no front frame lets you see into the interior from practically every direction, the seat is noticeably reclined and the control stick is set out at the right side of the cockpit instead of between the pilot's knees. Everything inside therefore stays in view on a finished model.
This is a set of color elements in 1:48 scale that belongs among decals. The elements are laid onto the parts of the kit and carry their color already printed, so there is no painting of small areas with a brush.
The surface must be smooth, degreased and with the paint on it fully dry. The method of application differs between lines, so check it beforehand in the manufacturer's instructions enclosed. Lift the individual parts with the tip of a scalpel, transfer them with tweezers and press them down with a cotton swab from the center toward the edges. Sand away any raised detail under an element beforehand, so that it seats flat.
The set aims at a modeler building the F-16C in a larger scale who wants to finish the visible places off without slow painting. The package contains the elements of the set; the kit, paints, glue and tools are not included, unless stated otherwise.
