This is a resin 3D-printed cockpit set for the Tamiya kit of the Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II fighter in 1:48 scale. The basic edition combines printed cockpit parts with pre-printed 3D decals for the instruments and panels, which make faithful detailing easier. It is not a kit of the aircraft but a detail set for more advanced modelers. Compared with the detailed edition, this version relies on faster completion with the help of the 3D decals.
The F-35A Lightning II is the single-seat land-based variant of the fifth-generation fighter, with an emphasis on stealth and integrated avionics. The cockpit is dominated by a large-area touchscreen, which the 3D decals imitate convincingly.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue and separate them from the supports. Apply the 3D decals to prepared and degreased surfaces. Glue with cyanoacrylate; lay down a primer before painting.
This is a standalone accessory. The base Tamiya kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
