The F-8 Crusader is an American carrier-based supersonic fighter, famous for its variable-incidence wing. The sturdy landing gear adapted for carrier operations is characteristic of the type, so faithful wheels with a sharp tread pattern will raise the persuasiveness of a model.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin wheels, cut the casting block off the seating surface of the tire and sand it down with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate super glue. Paint the tires matte dark gray and set the hubs apart with a covering or a metallic shade.
The set is an accessory and is supplied unpainted and unassembled. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
