The set holds four 3D printed resin FAB-250 bombs of the M-54 model in 1:48 scale. It is an armament accessory that replaces the simplified kit bombs with a faithful copy of the real munition, with fine seams and fins. It is not a kit of an aircraft.
The FAB-250 is a Soviet general-purpose (high-explosive fragmentation) aerial bomb in the 250 kg weight class. The M-54 model was among the widespread types of underwing munition and was carried by a number of Soviet and Russian attack and tactical aircraft. It was used against ground targets and fortifications.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue, separate them from the print supports and clean the surfaces up with your breathing protected. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Bombs most often carry a uniform shade on the body; the fins and the mounting bands can be set apart and brought out with a wash, and period markings suit the noses and the fins.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
