This is not an aircraft kit but a resin detail set from Reskit. It holds cast landing gear wheels in the type 1 tread variant with realistic flattening on the contact face (the weighted version), intended for models of the British fighters Hawker Tempest and Hawker Typhoon in 1:48 scale.
The cast wheels have a faithful tire tread, fine detail on the hub and the sag under the weight of the aircraft suggested. The sturdy landing gear of these machines is clearly visible on a model, so good wheels lift the overall impression markedly.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent and separate them from the casting blocks. For painting, mask the hub, or spray the hub and the tire separately and glue them together at the end. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Set the flattened face perpendicular to the ground.
This is an accessory, supplied as resin parts, unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
