This injection-molded plastic kit from Bronco captures the two-seat version of the Chinese J-10S fighter in 1:48 scale. Compared with the single-seat variant, the model reproduces the lengthened cockpit with its tandem seating; it also faithfully conveys the slender fuselage with its delta wing and canards. The kit is intended to be glued and painted.
The J-10S is the two-seat variant of the J-10 fighter with the crew seated in tandem one behind the other. Besides the training role it retains combat capability and can also carry out operational tasks. Like the single-seat variant it uses the aerodynamic layout of a delta wing with canards and carries the name Vigorous Dragon.
On the plastic use liquid cement. Pay extra attention to the two-seat cockpit, which you should finish and paint before closing the fuselage. A primer coat, an airbrush for fine shades and a varnish compatible with the paint used under the decals are recommended. The engraved panel detail stands out once a thin wash is applied.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
