Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the twin-engine heavy fighter and fast bomber Messerschmitt Me 410 A-1 Hornisse in 1:48 scale from Meng. The model offers a richly detailed cockpit, a pair of Daimler-Benz DB 603 engines and movable side gun barbettes just as the real machine had. In the box you will find decals with several marking options.
The Me 410 Hornisse (hornet) was a German twin-engine multirole aircraft of the Luftwaffe during the Second World War. It was developed from the troublesome Me 210 by fitting more powerful Daimler-Benz DB 603 engines. The A-1 version served mainly as a fast bomber, a Schnellbomber, while the Hornisse family as a whole also filled the role of heavy fighter and bomber destroyer. The remotely controlled side gun barbettes with machine guns were a characteristic feature.
Paint and complete the cockpit before closing the fuselage. Use liquid cement on the plastic, spray the surface with a primer and apply the shades with an airbrush. The canopy glazing is worth masking, and on a twin-engine aircraft give attention to the engines and propellers. Add the external stores and the side barbettes at the end of the build.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
