The MH-60K is the version of the Black Hawk transport helicopter adapted for special forces operations. Compared with the basic form it has richer equipment in the crew compartment and carries an in-flight refueling probe. The cockpit and the cargo compartment are visible on a model through large windows and sliding doors, so the interior is worth the work.
The set carries colored three-dimensional interior elements: the instrument panel and center console with legible dials, the side panels, the seats with harnesses and further equipment. The elements have real thickness, so they do not read as a print, and the colors and lettering are printed at the factory. The set is prepared for the Italeri kit number 2666.
Seat the elements on the interior parts before the fuselage is closed up. Clean and degrease the surface and sand off the original molded detail so that the new element seats over its whole area. Before applying them, check the method of fixing in the instructions: the procedure differs between ranges and the product name does not determine it. Seat the seats and harnesses with tweezers, as small parts are easily crushed by fingers.
The set suits modelers who build modern helicopters and want the cabin and cargo compartment without lengthy painting of instruments. The kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
