The pre-colored multi-layer photo-etched instrument panel comes painted from the factory and ready for immediate installation - it replaces the plastic part from your kit and faithfully renders the instruments, their dials and the lettering. There is no laborious painting and dry-transferring of dials. The set is intended for models of the MiG-23MF fighter in 1:48 scale.
The MiG-23 was a Soviet single-seat fighter with a variable-geometry wing, brought into service at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s. The export MF version was among the widespread variants and served in a number of armies, including Warsaw Pact states. The variable sweep of the wing combined good takeoff qualities with high speed in level flight.
Check whether the shape of the panel matches your particular kit - dimensions can differ slightly between kits from different makers and sometimes the edges have to be sanded gently. Clean up the original plastic panel, glue the part on with a small amount of super glue and apply clear varnish with care.
